2 c Flour -
1 ts Salt -
4 ts Baking powder -
1/4 ts Pepper -
1 Egg -
3 tb Butter, melted -
-milk -

DIRECTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------
Sift together the dry ingredients. Add well-beaten egg, the melted
butter, and enough milk to make fairly moist, stiff batter. Drop by
spoonfuls into boiling liquid. Cover very closely and cook for 18
minutes.
